Daycare
The Fort Smith Métis Daycare is a play based childcare program serving Fort Smith, NT. Our program provides opportunities for the children in an inclusive, safe, healthy, culturally appropriate, and compassionate environment.
Environment
The ELCC Department aims to protect and restore our environment. We leverage traditional knowledge, science, and tech for collaboration,. Various equipment and services are offered as well.
Health & Wellness
The Health and Wellness Program values healing and is created to encourage community members to participate in their own wellness. We are dedicated to deliver respectful guidance that meets all member with where that are at in their own journeys.
Sutherland House
Southerland House is a secure and anonymous place for women to receive support while they are fleeing violence. Children can live here with their mothers. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Thebacha Forestry
Thebacha Forestry is a company wholly owned by the Fort Smith Metis Council that provides Type 1 Wildland Fire Crews to Forest Management operations in the NWT and abroad.
Facilities for Rent
The FSMC has an assortment of facilities available for rent at our Thebacha Recreation Area (Lil Ma Park) in Fort Smith.
