The deadline to apply for the Senior Fuel Subsidy Program is March 15th, 2025.
A one-time subsidy of up to $1,000.00 will be given to eligible seniors towards heating. *This subsidy includes wood, heating oil, propane used for heating, electric heat and or wood pellets.
The application form and additional information can be found on the Northwest Territory Métis Nation website at https://nwtmetisnation.ca/senior-fuel-subsidy-program. Payment receipts must be dated between April 1st, 2024 and March 31st, 2025.
Please submit your application and required documents to housing@nwtmetis.ca, or drop off at the FSMC offices and we can forward the documents for you.
